Get Organised For The La Clusaz Snow Test

November 2022

For the first time the SIGB Snow Test is heading to France, to the freeride hotspot of La Clusaz just one hour from Geneva airport. The Test will run from the 23-27 of January and is open to all UK retailers and media for equipment testing for the following winter.

Registered testers can evaluate skis and boards and record their test results on the dedicated Test App (or old-school score cards). There will also be boots, accessories and clothing available to try where it matters – on the snow, in the mountains.

Find out more about La Clusaz

Nestled under the imposing north face of the Aravis chain, La Clusaz has carved itself a reputation for hosting many leading on-snow industry tests, both ski and snowboard. The Test will be based at the La Balme car park with a ski-in and walk-out setup, with immediate access to two high speed gondolas.

    Get your accommodation booked

The La Clusaz Tourist Office are in discussion with a possible main hotel, possibly including preferential rates BUT this is not guaranteed. We suggest using or similar sites to make an initial booking with the best possible cancellation policy terms. Further details of any main Test Hotel will be circulated as soon as available. Some registered testers have also successfully booked self-catered accommodation via Airbnb, where you can find some great deals close to the test site.

    Please Note:

    • The La Clusaz Tourist Office has a booking service via their website:
    • Charlotte is our contact if you have any questions:
    • Most apartments and chalets rentals will be based on Saturday to Saturday bookings.
    • Better priced accommodation options are down the valley towards Bonneville or Cluses but this will require 15-25 minutes of driving each day.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re excited to make this our best test yet!
