All The Kit That Counts
The Snow Test is the UK’s premier opportunity to try the new (next) season 2026-27 kit from all the brands that matter in the snowsport industry.
Last year there were approx 1400 different products to test, including over 640 pairs of the world’s top skis. We’re expecting at least the same and possibly more for our first visit to the Monterosa area.

Discount Ski Passes for All Attendees
If you’ve never skied at Monterosa, you’re missing out. One of the Alps less frequented major ski areas, it sits alongside the chain of 4000m peaks which mark the Swiss/Italian border, with a noticeably different look and feel from most of the better-known resorts.
If you look carefully, you can see the lifts of Cervinia/Zermatt from the main test pistes, but your eyes won’t miss the glacial monsters of the Matterhorn, Breithorn, Dufourspitze, Castor, Pollux, Parrotspitze and many more.
Buy passes early, save money to spend on some glorious food, wine and beer
As soon as you sign up, you’ll be emailed a discount code for online lift pass purchase, valid for up to nine days around (and including) the Test week - 24 Jan to 1 Feb. Monterosa’s lift pass purchase system uses dynamic pricing, so you’ll save by booking early.
The official SIGB Snow Test discount code gets you a further 20% off the current cost – no matter when you book.
WORK ACCESS ONLY PASSES
Passes for those not skiing (ie access on the funicular train to the Test site only, no pistes) will be available free of charge to those who require them – you’ll need to let us know names. These won’t work on any other lift.
Ski Socials: Day & Night
New for the SIGB Snow Test this year is the Friday Ski Social.
The main test and event village will pack down on Thursday night, leaving everyone free for informal testing or exploring the wider Monterosa ski area.
We’re aiming to organise informal groups for those who want to explore the pistes and hopefully work with the Guides Office for official guiding – Monterosa is known as the ‘Freeride Paradise’ for good reason.
In the evenings, we’ll have the Quiz Night special on Tuesday and we’re taking over one of the best (but not most expensive) trattoria/pizza restaurants in Champoluc for an end-of-Test meal on the Thursday night. More info soon!
Brand Socials & On-Snow Activities
If you have an idea for something you’d like to organise as a Test ‘Fringe’ event - however fun or serious the idea may be - please let us know ASAP so we can co-ordinate the schedule and not have people double-booking. After all, nobody wants to have to choose between learning about crevasse rescue or necking free birra e salsiccia, so get in touch velocemente!

Whether you’re a brand or supplier, a retailer or a media reviewer, you’ll find the relevant form, info and costs on the SIGB website here.
Once you’ve registered, we’ll be in touch to organise the details. You’ll get an invoice from SIGB HQ once everything is confirmed which has to be paid before the Test in January. Site space is limited but we’ll try to accommodate everyone’s requests as best we can.
