FIS Park & Pipe Judges Clinic

Ever wondered what it takes to judge a Freeski or Snowboard competition? Take your passion for Park & Pipe to the next level at the FIS Park & Pipe Judges Clinic.

Taking place at Emirates Arena, Glasgow on 29–30 August, this interactive two-day course will qualify successful participants as FIS C-Licence Snowboard or Freeski Judges, opening the door to officiating at national and lower-level international competitions.

Throughout the weekend, you'll gain an in-depth understanding of the judging process, including competition formats, scoring systems and discipline-specific criteria across Slopestyle, Big Air, Rail and Halfpipe. Through practical video analysis and expert-led sessions, you'll develop the knowledge and confidence needed to judge Park & Pipe events.

After completing the course, you'll have the opportunity to put your new skills into practice by judging at the Scottish Park Series, with guidance and support from experienced officials.

No previous judging qualification is required—just a solid understanding of Park & Pipe and a passion for the sport.

As an added benefit, Snowsport Scotland licensed coaches and instructors who successfully complete the course will receive a three-year CPD revalidation.
